Radiographic Testing (RT)

This is probably the best known and most widely
used method of non-destructive testing. Developed
over the course of many years, radiography provides
a reliable method of detecting flaws in a wide range
of product types including welds, castings, structures
 and composites. It is employed predominantly in the
 fabricating and casting industries for quality control,
and will reveal defects such as porosity, inclusions
and cracks.
Radiography is a very adaptable method of testing and
 can be used both in our laboratory facilities and on-site.

>> Castings in the ‘as cast’ or machined condition
